Works great! Aug 22, 2010
By C. J. Zhou Unfortunately for me, buying this club was due to the event of my car recently being stolen; a lesson learned the hard way. With this baby, I can rest easy a bit more now knowing that the only way a crook can steal my car again is to saw off my brake pedal and tow it - a task that most petty car thieves do not wish to undertake.
Anyways, the club works as advertised. It locks up against your brake (or clutch) pedal and stays that way until you unlock it with the included key(s). All you do is hook it up against the pedal, then hold it in place while pulling the black handle towards you - it will push the red end up against the firewall behind the pedal and keep it there.
Get this if you don't mind the extra hassle of having another club. In my opinion it is worth it because it makes it that much harder for thieves. But don't stop there, it's all about the layers! Kill switches, a paging alarm, a backup battery and siren on top of this and a steering wheel club will make your car a VERY difficult target. And keep those valuables out of sight!

Small buddy saves your car Nov 17, 2009
By LC One advantage of brake pedal lock over steering lock is the car is simply unmovable! This little brake lock does its work very fine (Its Club!). Its easy to use- just pull the latch and brake pedal is unmovable.
Two issues:
1. Its bit difficult to insert the lock. You need to really practise it to find out perfect position to install. Also for most of vehicle, you need to open door wide to install this.
2. It would been good to have a steering cover that gives visual warning that this car has the brake pedal lock installed! This little buddy doesn't catch the eye immediately so the thieves may break the window or door, just to find that the car is simply unmovable. But then you save car but losing the glass window!

Works fine, nothing special Dec 04, 2010
By Stewart This device doesn't seem very durable but is a better item to purchase compared to the club that latches onto your steering wheel since most criminals just saw through it. I use both though. The downside is that this device does not fit around the brake pedal arm (not wide enough) so the clutch was the only alternative which is OK but not ideal. I found it very easy to remove and install but you do have to work with it to move it into a good position and not the best visible deterrent. Overall, if deciding between this and the Club steering wheel lock, this is a better device. Comes with 3 keys compared to just 2 for the club steering wheel lock. A kill switch mounted in the trunk, fuel shut off, or other devices would round out and compliment the Club Brake Lock. Fair price and often difficult to find at auto parts stores.

Great product in the fight against car theft Apr 11, 2011
By JohnnyCoxville Awesome product. Put on ur clutch. Older cars can still be driven without the floor brake via the emergency brake. This is from an ex car thief. A+ I suggest using this on combo with the 4 hook wheel club. I always avoided these cars and most thiefs will. Great investment.

An good Anti-Theft Device Jan 26, 2011
By RAVEN I just got the product yesterday and I'm impressed with how quick you can attach the device. It's heavy and made of steel. I actually feel safe with it on my truck. Sure you can saw it off or try to pop the lock some how but not without making a ton of noise in the middle of the night and without me coming down the stairs with my baseball bat. It would take a lot of skill to get it off and at least it keeps away the rookie car burglars.
