awesome!!! May 17, 2010
By Charles A. Traughber The Rustler vxl is an amazing RC car. Even with the included 7cell nimh battery, it is very fast. Upgrade to a 3s lipo, and the speed is insane!
It is also very durable. Most crashes result in no breakage whatsoever, or minor damage that costs under $10 to fix.
I've had mine for about 1 month, and still lovin' it.
Don't even consider getting a brushed electric car. This is the ONLY way to go...

By sparkey this was my 2nd traxxas R/C vehicle, and it impressed me more than the first one, it is extreamly fast and hard to controll on paved or solid surfaces, but once you let it go into some soft earth it flies
Nice combo kit easy to use Mar 05, 2012
By James Heil Biogenidec Inc. I think Traxxs has done a great job of making an electric car that comes with everything needed to start up. Just charge your batteries insert in your car and go
Excellent product Feb 24, 2012
By Jeremy Excellent product. I love it. Recently upgraded to a LIPO battery pack, and that sucker is fast. If you crash a lot, like me, replacement parts are reasonably priced.
I would advise anyone buying one to purchase a fast LIPO charger right off the bat. You will probably, eventually want to upgrade to a LIPO battey pack in the future, and the LIPO chargers will also work on the battery pack that comes with the car. If you spend a little extra now, you will be set in the future. The fast charger I bought early on did not work with LIPO batteries, so I had to shell out some more for another charger.

By ben i got this rc car for my b-day and it came with a 7 cell battery the car(of corce)and the controller after the used to the controlls my dad got the po-po to shut down the street where i live. my dad went to the local "hobby shop" and bought a lipo battery and we put the biggest pinion gear we had and it easily did a 90 mile per hour wheele. then i decided i would ho full throttle snd it flawlesly 107 mph
my personal opinion on this car is it is the best rc car i have ever owned, i have had the e reveo and the t maxx and they dont compair to this car.
