Very dissatisfied Feb 12, 2010
By Rose Marie Dube Although this item looks great, is solid in construction, it has one major flaw. The strip that acts as the hinge when you open the suitcase is just a piece of cloth. When I received it, one side of the cloth was not attached which would make it very easy for anyone to get into the case. There was nothing else there to protect your belongings.
Thank goodness for Amazon.com I tried to contact the company for a refund twice and never heard back from them. I then contacted Amazon since time was running out to get a refund and they resolved the problem right away. Thank you again Amazon.com

travelers choise rome 29 inch hardshell upright Oct 04, 2009
By Geary A. Marcello For the cost i bought it on Amazone was a huge savings. The suicase itself is a very visually nice looking suitcase as well. Haven't taken it traveling yet but it seems very durable and could survive the baggage crews. I was very worried about weight with the new 50 pound limitations as well, this is incredible light a true light weight suitcase, weights no more than 10 lbs if even that. This is more for a long term trip or extended travel, definately not for any local or national travel. The ease of movement is incredible as well. Overall quiet happy with my purchase, no regrets.

We love this suitcase Sep 08, 2010
By Elizabeth Nebergall We have three of these cases and prefer them to all our more expensive sets. They're light, easy to handle, and they've safely carried everything from household appliances and complicated holiday toys to routine clothing and supplies.
Flimsy, poor quality, terrible customer service Nov 09, 2011
By jen First of all, the luggage arrived with a terrible chemical odor. Luckily, we had a couple of weeks before our first trip to let it air out. Helped, but still smelled terrible. On our first trip via car, with no mishandling at all, the bottom corner by the wheel on the 29 inch spinner broke, and the case itself cracked (about 6 inches). I sent photos to Traveler Choice and jumped through all their warranty hoops. 2 weeks later, we received what the company had sent as a replacement; however, it was the carry on rather than the 29 inch. We had asked for a different line of suitcases, since the Rome lightweight was such poor quality, but the manufacturer rudely refused. Now, after 9 weeks, we still have not received our replacement and have received rude treatment and terrible customer service from the company. I will NEVER buy anything made by Traveler Choice again. AWFUL.
