Very soft fabric, strong clip. I only wanted for Credit Card and a few bills so I cut off the bottom and sized and sewed to my liking. I love being free of a purse for shopping. Will be very useful when traveling attached to pants or skirt. Will buy again.

I've been using this for years. I keep my passport, credit card and extra cash in it. I've never used the belt loops, like in the picture. I have always used the clip to hold the pouch to my waistband on the inside of my pants. I've never had a problem with it rubbing on my leg, and although you can feel it, I've never been uncomfortable. My passport does get bent a little bit while sitting, but it's not damaged, and most of all it is safe from pickpockets. Credit card definitely gets bent, but it still swipes through okay. Once you get back home and keep your credit card in your wallet, the card straightens back out.
I give this product 5 stars because it's not a giant silly looking waist pouch. Nor is it a neck pouch that rubs on your chest, looks funny, and gives men an unfashionable cotton necklace. Also it deserves 5 stars because it works perfectly, it is the perfect size, the material lasts and it is a great way to hide your passport.
