When we first got it I second guessed my decision to buy it. It was packaged nothing like I expected, so it looked like a very small dresser. When we took the wrapper off, what I realized was how well it shipped. Strong cardboard so nothing was damaged. All the parts were there with a little extra, just in case I guess. Me and my husband put it together. It took us about 1 1/2 hours. The end result was great... A M A Z I N G for the price!!! I've seen crappy ones for sale at a much higher price that someone else put together. I know how mine is put together and the company made it headache free.

Once I saw this chest I feel in love and had to have it for my daughters room. It was a little hard to put together but is very sturdy.The color is perfet the size is great I recommend it highly!!!!

Despite the negative reviews I read about this product, I ordered it anyway from BabyAge through Amazon's website. First, when the product came in, the flimsy box was torn up and had a six inch hole in one of the corners. The "wood" pieces were barely painted and had streaks in it that showed the "wood" underneath in random places. It looked like someone had given it a thin coat of paint and then went back in random places and put a second coat. Had the whole thing had a second coat of paint it would have looked decent. At that point we boxed the product back up and had to pay 70 dollars to ship it back to the company. I was afraid I wouldn't get my money back since the seller says items must be unopened and in original condition (which wasn't how it was shipped to me in the first place), but I did. I decided to order the four drawer south shore dresser instead and am very pleased with it.

Purchased this for my 7 year olds room. Minute we put it up and put her clothes in it, KABOOM, started falling apart. Contacted the company and they gave me the only hard time. They refunded me $18.33, 10% of the purchase order. They refused to help me in any other way. DO NOT BUY FROM SOUTH SHORE..... EXPENSIVE AND THEY ONLY SELL CHEAP CRAP!!!!!!!!

It looks decent and doesn't feel super cheap. Ofcourse it isn't super heavy duty, but I wasn't expecting it to be for the price. The drawers slide nicely. I expect if my daughter isn't to crazy with it, it will last awhile. For the money it seems like a better deal than any of the similarly priced stuff at the local stores we looked at
