Recommend this table for it's sturdy construction and great workmanship. I used it once since I purchased it for a poker game. All my buddies thought it was a great table. The plywood support underneath is definitely something you should consider.

I just received this poker / Blackjack table top today, so i have not had a chance to "use" it beyond taking it out of the package etc.
It seems very sturdy and durable, ESPECIALLY at this price. I wasn't sure what to expect for $50 (product+shipping) but am pleased so far.
i don't care about the 'Dual' sides. I can and probably will play poker on the blackjack side, just because it is not just the plain green felt, but also because the Blackjack side is on the inside, the way the table folds.
The main reason i don't give this the whole 5 stars is because of the cup/chip holders. I realize they need to be removable for those that want to use both sides. However, they fall out way too easy, simply when closing back the table. May end up simply super glueing (sp?) the holders to the table and just play on the one side. But all in all, that is not a huge deal breaker or anything. It appears there are supposed to be some little springs that may hold the pieces in, but some of the holders don't have the springs? Again, whatever.
It seems like it will be very sturdy especially if hanging over the edge. Granted, I still would not recommend putting a lot of weight on it if not supported by a table underneath.

Unite is well put together. When opening you need to take care to make sure the felt is not pulled from the backing. Overall this is a well built product and I would recommend it as a good solid buy.

The unit I received was of very poor quality. Looking at the picture, here were the things wrong with the unit I received:
1. The plastic chip holders are held down using hot glue, the glue was squeezed out the sides and visible. I'm sure this is common but their Quality Control should not have allowed it to leave like that.
2. The yellow card borders you can see in the picture are silk-screened onto the felt, the one I received had one where the this border was clearly printed twice, and the screen was shifted for the second print creating a blurred border. This is a common occurrence but their Quality Control should not have allowed that print to be used on a final product.
3. The felt was not cut to fit under the chip holders, so I could see it peeling up right at the edge of the chip holder, instead of going under the holder and being held in place by the same glue used to secure the holder.
I think this could be an outstanding product if they improved the quality. I don't know if the unit I received was an anomaly but it looks like they need some tighter QC checks. Otherwise it is a very cool product, nice case, good weight, good design.

Had some trouble with this item. First we received pool q's (sticks) when we ordered the poker table top. Returned, refunded. Finally reordered and received correct item. We had a pre - existing base which we built to put it on. (We used to have a similar top but over the years it was used and abused and the felt got worn out.) This table top doesn't fit our 48" base. It sits on top of the outside moulding instead of dropping in because really it's about 48.75". It looks nice and should work fine. We'll just have to tack it down where it is or move the moulding out a bit.
