Great choice! Mar 20, 2011
By Julie I purchased this for our son's 11th birthday. He is small for his age, only weighing about 65 lbs. I didn't want to buy him one of the pogo sticks designed for younger kids (most say for ages 5-9) even though according to weight he fit into that category. I was afraid he would think it was too "little kiddish", but most of the pogo sticks for older kids start at 80 lbs minimum. The Bogo Pogo does not state a minimum rider weight, just a maximum of 140 lbs, so I was a little worried he might not be heavy enough to make it work properly. He took right to it, however, and has been having a great time. The second day he had it, he jumped 2011 times in a row on it! After that, he got bored with counting and started trying some tricks and going for height. I don't have much experience with other pogo sticks, but this one seems to work great for him!

Good for lighter kids Apr 24, 2011
By I'm a mom My daughter is 11 and only weighs 40 pounds. She wanted a pogo stick for Easter so after much research, I bought this one - despite the price - based on the previous reviewers' comments. We also have several Razor products and have been pleased with the overall quality. Well, this morning my daughter was a little hesitant because it looked weird as pogo sticks go, but I assured her that I had researched it thoroughly and this was supposed to be "the best." Well, after several hours of bouncing, she has informed me that it is definitely a 5 star product. Despite her mini size, she gets plenty of bounce. I tried it too at a bit more than 3 times her weight, and found that it was even fun for me! I'm quite impressed with the breadth of weight that this pogo stick can handle. I'm a little concerned with the spring - as it bows out and snaps back, but I'm assuming that the research team adequately researched the design for safety. So far, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

An awesome choice! Apr 16, 2011
By Eric Kaiser My eight year-old son says, "This is the best pogo stick ever. I can't stop jumping on it. I shared it with the fourth-graders at school and they thought it was cool."

Durable but bendable bar gets in way Jun 08, 2011
By Mustangman This product is very durable for a growing kid. My 11 year-old has used it and the bendable bar that moves with each bounce rubs against his legs. After doing this for a few minutes it left bruises on each leg. It's built for kids up to 140 lbs., but that bar gets in the way. Poor design by Razor!

flexing bow creates bruises Jun 13, 2011
By Michael J. Horn I just received the BoGo and our 10 year old daughter was bruised on the inner part of each knee from the flexing bow part of the Bogo. The tendency for the rider is to squeeze the stick with their knees for stability and this creates the rubbing. There should be a shroud around the bow to prevent this. Bad design.
