Great product - a must have for runners Oct 09, 2009
By Jennie P I did a ton of research before purchasing a sun shade for our stroller. I'd been using the car seat adapter, so between the car seat shade and the stroller canopy I didn't need one for awhile. I ordered the 3 in 1 because I was looking for sun and bug protection. When I opened the package, I was very impressed with the quality of the material. It is very breathable and well made. We live in Florida where it is still hotter than blue blazes in October. We tried this out for the first time this morning and my daughter stayed cool in 85 degree heat. She actually fell asleep during our jog for the first time in months. I am so happy with my purchase and I highly recommend it. It fits perfectly on our Baby Jogger Q series.

Excellent sun shade Nov 06, 2010
By Mel M. This sun shade is awesome. Most strollers have useless sunshades. I should know, I have 5 strollers and only the Quinny Buzz has a relatively decent sunshade. But even the Buzz isn't great for a sun phobe like me. I used to drape a blanket on the shade to provide ample protection, but as Baby got older, he didn't really like not being able to see out the stroller so would pull the blanket down.
Enter Protect A Bub. Ties onto the Buzz easily and forms a super sunshade. I have no concerns taking my kid out with this thing. Gives great protection (even down to his toes!) and it still lets him see out and feel like part of the action.
I got the black one and it took 2 months to receive, so that was a bummer. But hopefully Amazon got the supply figured out and you will not have to wait so long.

NIce shade, versatile and worked great for us Nov 22, 2009
By Nabia We used this a lot in our first summer with our daughter as she was sensitive to the sun as a lot of new babies are. It allows the air to flow freely through it, versatile and adaptable to most if not all strollers. Later on as our daughter grew bigger, she would play with it too, constantly pulling on it. I would say you will not use it much after your child grows past the 6 month mark.

too much work! Mar 22, 2011

I bought this for my jogging stroller to run and protect my babe from the sun...but when all said and done, it is simply too complicated! Everything has to be tied on, and then you have to untie everything to get your little one out! I wish they would have used velcro, it would have made more sense. I think for walking every once in awhile it would be fine, but for an avid runner who needs something every day, not worth it. I will be spending the extra $$$ and buying the BOB sunshade.

protect-a-bub = good Jul 12, 2010
By Kr9st9n I like this product. It works as promised. I have a Jogging stroller and this item works great with the frame (baby trend). My girlfriend purchased this too but returned it as she did not like it for her phil and ted's stroller. the frame and ties did not match up well - she likes the shade that comes with that brand. Back to protect-a-bub it seems hard to work with at first, but if you fool with it - and give yourself time (not when you expect to go for a walk) to try it out - you'll love it. I have the 3 position shade and all work well. My baby fusses when the shade is down unless i adjust it so he can see out - again, just tinkering with the stroller and item to figure out what works best for you. i live in chicago - and we get some serious wind around these streets and the protect - a - bub stays on and does not blow around like others - i think because it's breathable. the material is soft and stretchy. the shaping wire (or whatever is used to create the curved shape) is flexible which is nice for adjusting it or not breaking it.
I have not used the dark over/3rd postion, it just seems too much or in the summer when your strolling around, like it will be too hot. I'm sure i'll use it in the winter.
