Slightly Disappointed. Aug 19, 2010
By Heather273 The color is true to picture. However, the company sent me the wrong knobs, not metal but wood. Also, not all of the hardware was the right size for the drawers(they were too big, we had to make new/bigger holes). There was some damage and lots of chipped places, however, the company did send a marker to cover up those places on the product. It did take a while to put together 2+hours, but we did have to make new holes, so that did take lots of time. I will call the company to complain about the product and receive the correct knobs. The dresser does match my other espresso furniture (rocker/glider, dresser and changing table).

Fremont Dresser Aug 24, 2010
By Togz Took me a pretty long time to put together. Followed the directions very closely and when I was finally finished, the dresser felt wobbly. The dresser is perfectly fine if you are going to be gently and not move it.

Well made, excellent hardware, slightly smaller than expected. Mar 22, 2012
By Steve M920 Unfortunately for me I've had to "put together" more than my fair share of furniture so I am a self-professed expert. This Prepac unit went together easily with an excellent instruction guide and the assembly hardware was first-rate. The fit was perfect with no overhang at the seams and it lined up perfectly square when assembled. When beginning, make sure you separate the cam-locks according to size. The slightly larger ones are used early in the process to attach the top and if you accidentally use a smaller one you will hate yourself later when attempting to build the drawers. The finish was perfect and we lucked out in shipping as neither of the two dressers we ordered had any blemishes. The drawers slide easily and have a nice lightweight wood frame rather than any composite board. The knobs are espresso in color but are made of metal. The size dimensions are for the top so subtract an inch in depth and two in width from the stated size but we easily transferred the same amount of clothes from a bigger dresser so go figure. The assembled product felt very solid; no flexing. Moved easily with two people but a bit heavy. I'd suggest floor sliders. Also, definitely use the included wall anchor if little kids will be around.
