Homeschool Mom Mar 11, 2005
By Happy Mom I bought this for my 14 year old son and was very disappointed. The toy is limiting, due to the size and shape of the templates and the plastic walls. The support pieces for the walls are "chunky" and get in the way of the overall design. A pad of graph paper, plastic templates that are available at office supply stores, a good metal ruler, some paper and tape are a better investment than this.

Way Overpriced Feb 02, 2006
By Glenmont I agree with the mom who found this item disappointing. Actually, that's putting it mildly. (...) all you get is few pieces of acrylic, tracing paper, a few peel and stick windows and four colored pencils. The "manual" is a 4-page booklet with little useful information in it. The people selling this should be ashamed of foisting it on gullible consumers (like me). Borders on being a scam.

Pricey for poor quality Jan 17, 2010
By L Roberts This item looked like a neat way to make multiple designs and then take them apart and reuse the materials. However, I was very disappointed by the limited number of sheets of drawing paper and even more disappointed to see the "templates." These are thin plastic that do not even lay flat. They are not standard template weight plastic but little more than plastic film. My 12 year son is working with it, but it certainly was not worth the $50 we paid let alone the $85 that it is now selling for.

Great idea Aug 18, 2010
By ilovedit I am 16 now and remember using this when I was around 10. I loved it. I would build a lot of houses. Some people are complaining about the number of supplies that come with it, but I just went out and bought more large tracing paper. I think this was a lot of fun and would recommend it to anyone whose kids have an interest in architecture.

By Judson J. Brown It's pretty pricey for what you get but my stepdaughter really likes it so I guess it was worth it. Basically the product could easily be replicated at home with a little effort.
