I ordered a scope on Amazon for my Mosin Nagant 91/30 and I got these rings as I wanted to have a setup more sturdy than common sight-based rail conversions. I knocked out the pins on the sight, tapped it off and was able to mount my scope securely to the dovetail rail that is right on the receiver. I am so glad I went with these "High" ones as it aligns the scope perfectly. These allowed me to have a very clean and secure scope installation.

I bought the high rings for a Henry lever gun, to give me clearance for the rear iron sight and the hammer. These rings are taller and larger overall than I envisioned they would be, but they're very well made and very sturdy. I like the 4 screws in each instead of just one on each side, and the screws themselves are larger than what's normally found in rings like these. The "High" rings are VERY high, but work out very well on my gun. The finish is much better than I expected. Oh, and they shipped very quickly from Southern California. I'm happy with them.

I needed dovetail rings to mount on my Crosman Phantom. They were better than the original rings and the one ring even has a small point on the bottom, which adjustable with the hex wrench, and is made to fit into the hole on the rear of the barrel to secure it and to avoid sliding. They look great and hold very securely. They were plenty high enough to house my Ncstar 3-9x40 scope which I also bought on Amazon:3-9X40 Black Scope/Ruby Lens/Ring
If you're looking to buy either the rings or the adapter I recommend these since they are cheaper and are also high enough to mount a 50 mm. scope.

I needed higher mounts for my .22 since I was replacing the factory scope (using one I took off of another rifle). These mounts were just the right height and put the scope in a much better position than the original factory mounted scope. The mounts appear well made. As this was such a good price I bought these and the medium height mounts. I did not have any problems mounting these on my 40 year old .22 rifle. The mounts lock on nice and tight.
