Not the fanciest bipod but it gets the job done. Sep 30, 2007
By Stephen R. Well, the box that this bi-pod came with is simple yet stylish. No instructions, but it should be obvious on how to attach it. (No weaver rail included, you gotta buy it separately unless there's a weaver-type groove under your gun already.) There's a screw you have to put in so that the bi-pod doesnt slip around. (tool for screwing in included)
The bi-pod can lift your gun from 5 inches off the ground to about 10 or 11 inches. No rubber for grip, but not like you need that anyway...at least from my experience. The folding action is pretty smooth, and yes you can attach the bi-pod so that the legs fold forward or backward---whichever floats your boat.
Unfortunately, There's not really a fast way to detach this thing when you wanna pack your gun away or anything. As you can see in the picture, there's no big screw on the side for you to undo and just take it off.
Overall, good stuff. NCstar's not too bad in the bi-pod department, but there could be improvements too. I would recommend it to the casual airsoft players.

NO Jul 29, 2011
By Tim 59 Hansen This is very crappy quality. The tiny springs controlling the height of the bi-pod both fell out in normal use. i would not reccomend this product. A waste of 20+ dollars not including shipping.

Horrible Bipod. Jul 23, 2011
By Robert Tapia I bought this bipod for my X7 paintball gun. I ignored most of the negative reviews and bought it anyway because it was $18. I had it mounted on my X7 and it didn't look that bad. The paint isn't so beutiful though. This bipod is made for a real firearm so I though this bipod could withstand some paintball rounds. The second or third round both the springs are out of the bipod! So now I have a $18 useless bipod. It was wobble to begin with. I don't reccomend buying this bipod for paintball, especially not hunting or target shooting, or airsoft. If you want it for your firearm that is in a showcase or somthing than it might work.

If this is what kind of stuff the Chinese actually use, America should not be afraid. Apr 21, 2011
By rottncod For less than the price of an expensive Subway sandwich I really cannot complain too much about build quality. The bipod mounts snuggly to the rail mount though quite a bit of wobble exists in the legs where they extend. (It can be argued that it helps to adjust your shot without having to move the entire weapon but I guarantee that is NOT what the manufacturers had intended.) Small patches of rust were visible from opening the package but were swiftly removed with just a copper brush and some oil. In addition to this the spring in the left leg had fallen out and I sadly discovered it resting in the package though with a small bit of glue and profane language the problem was fixed! In conclusion the price was great but I would not recommend this to the serious shooter.
ITEM SUCKS Jan 16, 2012
By Essoeasy Sure it looks cool and works great if your just keeping it on your gun at home and never actually using it BUT after 1 day of paintballing playing on the field and never even using the bi-pod at the end of the day I noticed it was broke. Product sucks save your money. seriously.
