I purchased this product with the hopes of security for a certain area in my home while I was on vacation. The product did not work. The remote would only allow you to record at that moment but the images were not clear enough to even provide proof of identification. The motion detector portion of this camera did not work at all. I would suggest that you not purchase this product and consider the extra expense for quality.

This mini-clock camera had hi ratings, but its a piece of junk and here is a list of why:
1.When the video recorder is on, a blue light flashes each time it records.
2.It has blue and red light blinking all the time, its obviously not just a clock.
3.The instructions are in Chinese
4.The translated English instructions might as well be in Chinese too.
5.It has a talk to tell time button. Making it a toy for kids. They touch it and move it.
6.It had a crazy talking alarm that hoes off in the middle of the night and the instructions do not say how to turn it off.
7. The black side door for access to DVR controls and memory card is hard to open and flimsy. Broke on 2nd day. Now everyone can see that its a recorder.
8. It is very hard to put in the memory card.

This product was easy to install and get working. The instructions were clear and so far it has worked as advertised. We're not using it for super HD-quality video but for discreet surveillance it gets the job done.

I like it. for the price it is not bad. Viewing angle is not great but ok, battery life is on a good level, light sensitivity is average. I dont like some noise on the picture and collor - silver :( it must be black because black hides camera much better than silver
If you want absolutely good quality with well hidden camera, go and by $200 and more device. If want just to play - This is the best choise
