I bought this as a birthday gift for my 5 year old son. The bridge is really nice and he loved it. My only complaint is that he can't use it on his train table because it is too long. It fits very well with other wooden train tracks.

My daughter has a combination of Melissa and Doug and Thomas and Friends wooden tracks, trains and accessories. I had been looking to get her something special to add to her tracks, as we had not owned anything above and beyond the cars and tons of tracks and basic track bridges before this purchase. This bridge is AMAZING!! all put together the this spans about 2 to 3 feet. The suspension cables are printed on clear durable plexi glass type material. The lift supports for the ascending and descending tracks are just as good at the Learning curve ones I have seen. The pieces connect with both the Melissa and Doug parts and the Learning Curve ones. My daughter (2yrs) loves this and I cannot believe the quality and amount of toy for the money. A FAR better deal than anything I have gotten that is Thomas and Friends brand/Learning Curve brand.

This is a very well made, LARGE suspension bridge which is compatible with most other wooden train sets (our train stuff is mostly Thomas and it works perfectly fine with that). For the money, this is a VERY cool train accessory/destination piece. Compared to the other brand mentioned above, this is a steal! The piece is quite large, so make sure you have room on your play surface to fit it in! Overall, the quality is top-notch, and just as good as Thomas. The painting is great and nicely detailed, and the piece is very sturdy. Will definately be buying more M & D train pieces to add to our son's collection.

This bridge is incredibly well priced given how big it is and how attractive it is. My daughter has generic wooden tracks but everything else is Thomas stuff..which we all know can get very pricey. This bridge is better than any of the Thomas ones at almost half the cost, not to mention had the best reviews as well. Santa is also bringing her the Thomas spiral expansion pack, and combined with this bridge and her existing train stuff, will make for awesome track building. For the price this is a spectacular deal.

I can't believe how inexpensive this bridge is for the quality item that you get. It fits Thomas train tracks and looks way better than any of that brand that I've seen. It's very cool, my kid flipped when he got it as a gift, and loves to sprawl out on the floor and put train sets together. Cool items like this keep the track-building new and exciting.
