My granddaughter (age 5) and I worked on this together, and she was fairly focused on the task until it came time to glue. Her interest in waiting waned, and she wound up letting me do the finishing touches. Oddly, she didn't even want to put the stickers on it. We did have fun together at first, though, enough for me to purchase another similar product.

My son is 3.5 years old and loves it--loved every part, putting together, the glue, painting...and now plays often with the finished product. Great activity and doesn't take too long.

This was exactly what we were expecting. The kids loved painting all three of the Melissa and Doug Wooden toys. Great project for a rainy day!

My 5 yr old son loved painting and decorating this plane! There was plenty of paint and stickers that allowed him to do it by himself and it still looked "professional" once completed. Patience was practiced while waiting for each portion to dry :)

My six year old loved making this. The parts are easy to assemble and he could do it without help. (He knows how to read, so that helped, perhaps, but I recall the directions being quite easy to manage.) He couldn't wait to open it, put it together and paint it.
