Not a Kilij Apr 14, 2012
By CTGK This sword is a falcatta. And it isnt even a decent representation of that. A Kilij is more like a shamshir, falchion, or scimitar. This is a sword that was used in egypt and parts of greece.

By dj This "kilij" is wrong on every level. As noted above it is a cheap replica from the movie 300 but on top of that its not even correct for that era. Ancient Sparta used a Xyphos, this prop was designed to try to add flash and flair to something that was already a near perfect weapon. the fact its being sold as a kilij is so immoral. On top of that I have seen it labeled under different names. this piece of crap needs taken down from all titles but "300 replica" zero stars for the attempted deceit
Review from a Turkish guy Jun 20, 2011
By Hakan This is not even a replica of a kilic (kilij)... It has no resemblance to a real kilij. Feel free to get a better idea of what one should look like here:
(incidentally, this page is a Turkish page...)
Lame.
