 Great Steak and Utility Kitchen Knife Dec 23, 2007

I bought my set in Dec 2005 and have been using them nearly daily for 2 years. I use them for many kitchen utility tasks like deboning, vegetable slicing, opening up UPS packages, etc. I don't rotate my knives, so there are 3 or 4 knives I have used the majority of the time during these 2 years. I also don't abuse my knives like cutting wire, sheetrock or wood. So they have stayed sharp without any noticeable degradation of sharpness.
Handles are a plastic that is very rugged. Two years of dishwasher cleaning has not affected the plastic at all, no dulling, white hazing nor cracking. Still looks the same when I first opened the box.
At these prices ($6/set or less) don't even think twice. Pick up a set or two for the kitchen, tool box, fishing tackle box, etc. Great bargain and great value.

Really nice for the price Feb 22, 2008

For $7.99 I got 12 steak knives that not only cut steak,they slice tomatoes, bread, etc. Really sharp! They also fit in my knife block, and the handles match my good set of German kitchen knives. I had considered buying steak knives from the maker of my all purpose knives but the cost was over $100 for 6. It just didn't seem worth it for the price. I'm glad I didn't spend that kind of money. This set works great and it's such a bargain.

This set of steak knives is identical to the one I got from the Kirby man many years ago. ( Let the man do his Kirby vac demonstration and get a free set of steak knives -those were the days!) Anyway, these knives withstood many abuses, including being used as a screwdriver, a letter opener, even a box cutter. They stayed sharp and intact, and didn't rust in the dishwasher. You wouldn't want to use these knives with your best china, but for everyday, they're the best! I had to replace the ones I had because my kids absconded with them!

I bought these to replace some old steak knives I had. I was reluctant to do so, as the old steak knives still cut well despite their bad appearance. I have been using the MIU Poly-Handles Steak Knives now for a few months, and I have been very impressed with them (impressed enough to write a review, which I rarely do). My husband and I both agree that they were a valuable purchase. They are sharper than the old ones were. They cut well, and the handle feels very good in your hand. The edge guard near the blade of the knife is larger than other edge guards that I have seen, which makes me feel safe while I am cutting. I would definitely recommend these knives.

This is a great deal. These knives are great for less than a dollar apiece you can't beat it. The knives are very sharpe and cut right through a steak like nothing.
I'd highly recommend buying these knives.
