Great battery powered outdoor light May 31, 2011
By BR The light works very well. I put it outside a door that leads to a backyard deck. The brightness is sufficient for both security and some ambient lighting while outside. I wish the light had a time control that was adjustable. It would be nice to be able to have it stay on (or off) when outdoors in the evening instead of having to "move" to get it to come on every few minutes.

Does the job Aug 23, 2011
By Cris Does not always detect movement, it is easy to mount on wall and when it does detect lighting it is bright.

Love this light Oct 25, 2011

Have outside a screen room where we only have solar for inside. Works and looks great--in fact I am buying two more. Ours seems to be more sensitive than other reviews? but we might not have as much light interference as others have.

nice looking, disappointing performance Nov 27, 2011
By jen the light looks great and seems easy to install, but i didn't get that far since testing it led to it not really working properly. it's bright and stays on for 30 seconds, but i had to wave my hand about 1 inch away from the sensor to get it to work. maybe i have too much ambient light, but we can't see when people are at our front door, so i'm looking for something else.
Flimsy construction, doesn't work Dec 14, 2011
By L. Kawai Maybe I got a lemon that didn't work out of the box, but it doesn't excuse the cheap construction and materials for the sconce. Box claims that it will the lamp will last 50 years, but looks like it will tarnish much sooner than that. I also had to open up the entire contraption to try to fix the plate glass on one of the faces of the sconce, but realized it was not repairable because of the thick cable wire running down the inside corner. Returned.
