Definitely a Good Product Dec 20, 2010
By Aaron When I got to my apartment on the first day of moving in, I realized I did not have a tea kettle! I had to have my Red Rose English Black Tea so I purchased this kettle. To my surprise, the Pedrini Tea Kettle works perfectly to my tastes and the whistle will definitely make sure you do not forget its presence on the stove! Cheers!

Good Little Kettle Aug 30, 2011
By CasiNada Cook Went shopping for a kettle, and quickly suffered sticker shock! Everything was $49 or more. I wanted to replace the old enamel kettle that had lived on my stove forever and was getting rusty on the bottom. I keep a kettle there to add water to things long simmering on the stove or whatever; Also to make the occasional French press coffee. I've been quite pleased with this little kettle. Is it perfect? No, the handle gets a bit too warm, but maybe that's because my stove has big burners & high heat - a flame tamer might help with that; That's also what potholders are for, right?! All in all works fine for what I use it for.

Okay product Oct 17, 2011

The handle is very cheap and felt as if it would fall off any second. When you hold it, it just feels like it was taped on.
The body of the kettle seems good, and so far after many uses it has held up, nothing defective.

Good deal if under $15.00 Oct 15, 2011
By Bubbafats I was at Target recently and got sticker shock looking at whistling tea kettles. Somebody decided that tea kettles need to be expensive.
Pedrini (and Capco) didn't get that memo, and here we have a good quality polished stainless steel kettle at a non-nosebleed price. And yes I repeat: it's polished stainless steel.
It's light (what do you expect at this price?) and easily dented. So treat it nice...
Deduct a star if you don't get free shipping. Additional shipping charges diminish this good value.
Packaging is non-existent, no manufacturer's box, just a cellophane bag. My kettle arrived just fine despite thoughtless packing with no padding.
If yours arrives damaged, ask for a free replacement. Amazon is excellent that way.

Okay for price Jan 15, 2012
By Izzy This kettle is okay for $15 but it's a very light flimsy material and it does get a hot handle and rusty. It did not come in a box which was weird. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the price is reasonable and expensive kettles these days are not much better. I am surprised by any 4 or 5 star review, which got me to buy it in the first place. It is not a high quality product.
