amazing results! Jan 05, 2009
By Jon K. Uhler We have been using this item for our three children for our school at home and have been amazed at the results! All of our kids have learned how to type in a very short period of time - a week! Because the work is "fun," the kids want to do it and enjoy the success of being able to type. It still needs some oversite from a parent, but it is very minimal and simple. I would recommend this product highly. p.s. we have also tried Mavis Beacon and don't like this program very much in comparison to Typing Instructor.

Good Product Jan 30, 2009

I have twin 10 year olds and a 12 year old. They have all been "forced" to use this at least once a week for 30 minutes! I say "forced" because, they (of course) would much rather play a video game than a typing instructor! Ha! But, I have seen improvement in all three of them since Christmas. However, they have grown bored with this, so I am searching for a different typing CD-ROM. For the money, it is a nice beginner program!

My eight year old son liked this SW so much - he wanted me to write a review. All three of our sons (twin 8s and 10 years old) are learning to type fast...

This is probably a good product for younger children, but my 11-year old son is not terribly interested in it. I do wish the games were a little more geared towards older kids. It does work very well, however.

nice software Dec 28, 2008
By B. Altman Kids went wild over it initially (8 y.o. and 5 y.o.) but got bored and tossed it to the side after about a week. My son though tries to type with his hands on the home keys now at least. Could be they will pick up using it again some time in the future. I couldn't figure out how to change users after one was already selected, so when changing I was forced to exit the program and reload.
