forget the teeball stand Oct 17, 2008

You are better off just buying a bat & ball. The teeball stand in this is worthless. It depends on a plastic screw connecting threading into the plastic tube, and on mine the screw was too small & they wouldn't thread, therefore the stand will not work. Plus it's thin & flimsy & I wouldn't expect it to stand up for too long anyways. If you really want a stand, buy one seperate & forget this one!

JUNK\ UPDATED!! Apr 19, 2009
By Erik Hagen This is garbage my son used it for all of five minutes and after the second time he hit the tee the nut holding it all together literally shattered rendering it useless and now a waste of perfectly good landfill space. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!
UPDATE: called customer service and the were very apologetic and promptly sent a new set which has since been destroyed, but lasted about a month with vigorous 3yr old play levels, the tee flies farther than the ball, I seriously think I got a lemon the first time

Great bat & ball (but crummy tee) Sep 06, 2011
By Steven Rau

The tee that came with this set got put aside within a couple of days of use. It was quickly clear that a higher-quality, more durable tee would be useful.
However, the bat is of respectable quality, and the ball is all but priceless to me at this point. During the hottest days of the South Carolina summer, my two-year-old figured out how to hit a pitch. This bat & ball set allowed us to practice daily in the comfort of our home. The ball is soft enough that even if he hits a wicked liner right at baby sister, it's not going to do any harm (not a hypothetical situation). Yet it's firm enough to be able to pitch & hit soundly.
The bat has held up well to my son's daily use, despite his habit of whacking the plate several times while he's in the batter's box.
I'd love to buy several more of these balls, and I haven't figured out any way to do so other than buying this set.

Lost a part Apr 27, 2009
By Jacinda Buchanan Ours didn't fall apart but we did lose the plastic screw that holds the stand together. Since I can't find a replacement, the only option is to buy a whole new set, which I probably won't do, not in the same brand at least. Also, this same set is only $9.99 at many stores, including Target.
