Minor Annoyances, but overall not a bad game Jan 25, 2010
By Melanie PROS: Uses TWL Dictionary, has dictionary look up
CONS: Very difficult to see last move played. No option to pin move list open.
First, this game IS compatible with Windows 7. I was a bit concerned with that when I purchased it but so far it has worked flawlessly. What I love is that this is the first computer scrabble game I have played that uses the official TWL dictionary and not OSPD. The letters and the game board are very easy to read and the overall functions of the game are simple and easy to use without being flashy. It is possible to see a move list by selecting it from a drop down list, but the move list disappears after each move. Also, while it will show you the last word your opponent played it does not show you or tell you where that play was, so sometimes it takes a bit of searching.
Overall, this game is definitely worth the money and is much better than some older versions. However, if you are not familiar with TWL dictionary you may not recognize many of the words used as they are not in OSPD.

Scrabble Plus, Fun?? Oct 04, 2009
By Grace Morgan
"Gracie"
The new Scrabble Plus game is just O.K. It is somewhat hard to know what points the computer player is getting, (you have to add them up, I not even sure when they pass). I also am wondering what dictionary is being used, I have the latest Scrabble 4th edition dictionary and a lot of the words the computer player uses are not in it. My first choice is still the Scrabble Complete.

Can't Stop Playing Jan 11, 2011
By Stranded Suburban Since moving from the city, back to my hometown in Northern Louisiana, I have found myself with hours of free time. For many years, I have played Scrabble with my family, especially on holidays and in my leisure time. However, I recently offended my long time playing partner, when I got overly excited about my unusually high score. Thus, I jumped at the chance to play Scrabble with the computer. It has provided me with a worthy companion, who is never offended when I "beat his socks off", and I use the hints and dictionary to improve my skills, for when I do get to play with another human. My only problem is, I can't stop playing. I have owned other hand held games, but this computer game is perfect for me. It is challenging, yet informative. I play while watching TV, traveling, and every free minute I get. I hope my husband doesn't get lonely because of my obsession with this new partner. I play at the pro level. I call him Omar, because he looks Middle-Eastern.

Great Scrabble Game! Sep 10, 2010
By Camare This game IS compatible with Windows 7. I was a bit unsure at first, and only put it on my Vista laptop...then ventured to put it on an XP machine at my BF's home, and finally on my Windows 7 machine at home and have had no problems at all. It works exactly the same on ALL machines! I do wish I could change the icon when modifying a profile, but that's nothing other than my preference. It took some time getting used to the TWL dictionary and I did buy one after a few weeks. It took a while to get used to looking for the last move on the move list, but like any new program you just have to adapt to the changes. And I agree, you do have to search a bit sometimes to find the last play, but I've gotten used to that too. It just so is nice to find a scrabble game that works. The last three or four versions of the game I've tried just gave me a black screen.
