Doesn't deserve any stars at all. Mar 16, 2010
By E. Kotzen
"Trying my best"
Even if you don't know how to use a computer, this software is not your best choice. The interface is unlike any other program and hard to learn. Their sales team doesn't know which versions of their software is compatible with what operating systems; use the wrong version and you might have to reformat your hard drive. Virtually any word processing or desktop publishing software can create address labels and greeting cards and PrintMaster doesn't seem to have any advantages. You get what you pay for.

Will Not Print Greeting Cards Mar 08, 2010
By Robert Shepard Jr. I watched my mother pull her hair out all weekend on this thing. She has used previous versions of this software since the 1990s, to good effect.
Not this time. Her primary use of this software has been to print greeting cards. Nowhere on the box did PrintMaster Gold 2.0 warn us that we have to use their online service for cards. This, however, is what the program's help file is telling us. I double-checked it, just to be sure.
True, the online service is listed as an optional benefit, but we are not told that it is mandatory. Mom wasted paper and toner trying to get this thing to work, to no avail. We ended up making a trip to Safeway instead.
We are well past the point where we can get our money back on this obnoxious piece of junk, so will have to swallow our loss and move on. Hopefully, an earlier version of this software will install on Windows 7. Otherwise, we'll be looking at the competition.

$20? seriously? May 08, 2010
By Christopher L. Batson
"Chris B."
I bought this initially to use for Avery Labels. I figured since it was on the box that I would have the ability to choose the Avery label number template and viola, edit and print my labels according to template number. Had I known this does not work, they just "assume" you'll want a return label or mailing label they pick out of their vast assortment of two(2) label choices, That's right TWO. I'd rather eat my $20 than make this mistake again. I should have come here and read the reviews first. Avery offers free use on the website, and it's easy to use. If you are making labels then go that route. Next stop is Encore/Broderbund site for a tartly worded email. Oh, one last thing, I would have given this a -5 stars if it were offered. AVOID THIS PRODUCT AT ALL COSTS

Don't buy this product for greeting cards Jul 10, 2010
By Jill This program doesn't allow you to print greeting cards on your own printer. The company requires a fee to print the cards. The selection of greeting cards is extremely limited compared to version 10.
There are some nice features of this program (party hats, crowns, place cards). However, I intended to use this program primarily to print greeting cards; unfortunately, I cannot do this on my own.

By Barbara Hayle This was very disappointing and I sent it back. I bought Hallmark 2010 card program and love it.
