Students love the fairness and fun of using it for team selection etc., Feb 10, 2011
By Margaret Anna 9-12 still love to go to the board and pick teams. The spinners provide a fair and suspenseful way to get all kids engaged in the set up stage of an activity. Wish I could think of more ways to use the spinners.

Awesome classroom tool Jun 05, 2010
By Classroom teacher These spinners are an excellent addition to your teaching toolbox. These spinners have a strong magnetic back that holds the spinner to any magnetized surface. I draw a large circle, divide it into sections and label each. My students spin the spinner and the whole group game begins. They absolutely love it! It is also a great method to teach probability!

These are great for many uses in the classroom. You won't be disappointed if you get them. They are actually very durable.
Great idea - poor execution Apr 11, 2012
By Meredith Johnson I teach Kindergarteners, most of the time in small groups working on literacy. I saw these spinners and immediately thought of all the possible activities we could do and how much the kids would like them. Unfortunately, one of the spinners came broken and one of the others is not well balanced, so that it tends to always point down after spinning. The third one seems to be working for now. As I said, great idea , but poor execution.
Spins, but not consistantly! Jan 08, 2012
By Joelle I bought this product to help teach probability in my middle school math class. These spinners have a strong tendency to land vertically. Even if it stops horizontally, the weight of the spinners will cause them to turn vertically, making it impossible for the spinners to land on anything other than the "12/6" directions.
