I ordered this toy for my kid who loves plane. Made in metal it is durable, however it is smaller than what I expected (~10 cm)

Worthwhile addition Oct 19, 2011

With the exception of the wheels on the bottom, which I always find clunky and annoying on diecast planes, this is a really good one. Unlike a lot of other Daron Worldwide diecast planes, this one has entirely painted-on details, none of the cheap, easily ruined stickers that come on seemingly all the rest of their toys. Only the top of the fuselage and vertical stabilizer are metal, the bottom, wings, and elevators are all plastic. While it doesn't have a lot of detail, it's still a very good replica of the Airbus A380, and should make a great toy for kids who have a fascination with airplanes.

Great little plane Jan 02, 2011
By Doug Lifer My 7 year old loves this toy. It's about 5-6 inches long and reasonably good quality especially for the price. The detail is pretty good. It's not for rough kids that destroy toys as the plane does have some more delicate parts like the wheels.

great airplane toy Dec 30, 2010
By k.m. i bought this for my 7 year old nephew who is fascinated with planes and boats, all of a sudden he was fascinated by the Airbus 380 so I knew this was the perfect toy, it's made out of metal and is really durable, if it drops you know that it's okay, and it is portable (it can fit almost anywhere). he loves to hold it in the air and he pretends that he's the pilot. it's affordable and he plays with it everyday. these small toy planes last longer than bigger and more expensive ones

fun Nov 16, 2011
By s I bought this for my 2 year old that is now obsessed with planes. This was his first plane. It's pretty durable and takes a beating pretty well. I wish it were not as expensive or I'd purchase several.
