 Cheap quality and badly assembled. All colors are stickers, not painted, and they come off easily. Mar 06, 2012

If you have bought matchbox vehicles or airplanes before, you would expect all toy planes should be in similar qualities. However, this Daron Boeing 787 Dreamliner doesn't even come close in matching matchbox toys' quality and durability. First, the colors are not painted, but stickers which are badly adhered to the body. Because the curve of the body, the stickers appeared bumpy and awkward. The stickers are not even completely attach to the surface, and leave a "hollow" surface in between tail and body. Second, when I examine the stickers from the front, they are not adhered in level. One side is higher and the other side is lower. Third, the 787's zigzag or saw-tooth shapes at the end of engines are simply not there. Fourth, the body feels like it is metal (but not cast iron), but the wings are definitely plastic. If I saw this bad quality toy in a store, I'd never buy it.

My son is very into airplanes at the moment. He is 6 years old and wants to get his hands on as many planes as possible. He loved this model plane, but a horizontal stabilizer broke off after 2 weeks with fairly gentle play. It is a heavy plastic rather than diecast, so be aware. That said, I'm glad we have it and would buy it again.

It was a gift for my father for Christmas and he thoroughly enjoyed it considering that he is an airline pilot. It came in a timely fashion so I cannot complain.

Its a good toy but it does NOT have an airlines printed on the side.
Made of light metal. Durable.
