When we first installed our hummingbird feeder, there was a steady line of ants going in and out of the feeder all day long. It was a waste of nectar. But as soon as we installed this ant guard, it stopped. We've never had an ant problem since!

I love my Hummingbird feeders but the constant stream of ants were a headache. I tried many products and even tried old home remedies and nothing worked for more than a day, hung these simple little devices and no more ants!! Great product at a low price.

This little ant guard is fabulous, works for large or small ants. At the moment I only have 1 of them and have been circulating it amongst 4 feeders. You will LOVE this product!

The plastic hooks broke the first time we used it, resulting in the feeder falling off and breaking. Worse than useless.

We use this with our Humdinger feeders, because the little water moats in the humdingers dry out so fast in Arizona. These ant guards are a better solution. It took the hummingbirds a full day to warm up to them -- they would shy away when they noticed the big green thingy. I'm serious -- hummingbirds are pretty clever.
The ant traps work. I wish the hooks were made of metal instead of such thick plastic -- I can imagine that these hooks will deteriorate pretty quickly in the Arizona sun.
