Pelouze Postage Scale Mar 13, 2006
By benchwarmer Accurate, fast, easy to use. Price is reasonable. Only problem is difficulty with large envelopes (11x17 up) as cannot see readout.

Very useful little scale Apr 07, 2007

I've been using this scale for over 10 years now. Just recently it looks like it died (it won't stay powered on) so I'm here looking for a scale. I've found it indispensable over the years. Another reviewer said the weight can't been seen with large envelopes. That's not true, you need to press the Hold button so that the display will hold onto the readout for a few seconds. One thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't maintain settings such as Hold or grams/oz and you have to set them everytime. Anyway, I haven't yet made up my mind on what to get. I'd happily get this scale again but I'm hesitating because it seems too pricy for what it is.

Nothing but a struggle Oct 13, 2006
By Susan J. Devitt
"PASSIONVINEHOUSE"
I have owned this machine for some time now and from the very beginning it has been a struggle to get a read out on the item I have placed on it. I press ON and get errors, then zeros, then nothing, then I turn off and try again. Then I turn ON, get errors, then zeros, then add my envelope, then get nothing. After about 6 times of this I finally get a reading. I'm looking for a replacement now. I can't spend 10 minutes trying to get a reading for every item I weigh.

High price, junk manufacturing Feb 09, 2009
By E. Goldberg This was an expensive scale. I assumed it was well made.
After using it just a few dozen times, I was shocked to have broken off the top of my unit: when picking up the envelope I laid on the scale, one of my fingers accidentally pressed the plastic top of the scale upwards. The force from just *one finger* broke off the top of the scale.
I've never seen such crappy quality, let alone at such an expensive price (nearly $100 with power adapter). DEFINITELY not recommended.
