I have decided that a good writing instrument in the pocket is the cost of doing business in my line of work. This lightweight, thin Cross pen helps me not look back.
The black satin finish is very nice, the writing quality is good for an entry-level fine pen, and the gold appointments complement clothing in the earth color range.
I ruin about a shirt per year via ink leaks. This pen is not going to do that.
A very handsome, economical, solid-value product from Cross.

I have owned Cross pens before and they are always the best writing utensils I have ever used. They last forever and no matter how old the quality of the writing is always the same.

Gave my husband this beautiful pen for his birthday. He had had the full set, but had lost the ballpoint pen. he loves it because it is so elegant, yet masculine. He uses it mostly at his teaching job and has gotten many, many compliments. It is a beautiful pen that I highly recommend for a birthday or graduation present.

I got this gift for my girlfriend as a 3 year anniversary present. She loved the pen, she said its a little thin compared to other pens but her hand doesn't get fatigued from writing all day with this pen. the ink flows nicely but the refills are a bit on the small side as the one that came with the pen lasted a week and a half (idk if the refill that came with the pen was just partially filled as printer cartridges usually like to come in a new printer). the pen looks really nice and the gold plating stays clear and has a nice elegant shine to it.
