When the enclosure showed up I was very pleasantly surprised with the the carpeting and overall build quality. The terminals aren't the best, but work just fine for my application and would have been a breeze to swap out for something nicer if desired. What you see in the picture is what you get, nothing more and nothing less.
After reading some of the comments about air leaks, I went out and bought a tube of silicone and ran a healthy bead around every seam in the box, including around the terminal port and let it dry for 36 hours before installing the sub. No issues at all so far, and was certainly an easy fix for some peace-of-mind. Sounds great with my Type-R Alpine, matches the "optimal sealed" rating almost perfectly for my 1243D. Also has a little metal plaque on the front in the bottom right that says "BBOX - Atrend". It looks nice and gives the box a great look, I love it!

If you are looking for something to balance out and compliment your mains, then this box is perfect. I just turned 37 and gone are the ol days of thinking its cool to see how many car alarms I can set off with my system. I wanted strong but accurate bass. I have an eclectic taste in music, so one moment I'm thumping old school Too Short, the next I'm rolling to Yanni or Snatam Kaur's Mul Mantra
I have a Kenwood performance series loaded into this being pushed by a Boss 1500 W amp. The combo in this box is insanely loud, but clear. No Air leaks as of yet. Box itself seems to be well built for what I paid. Side terminal looks cheap, but still not bad for what I paid. Kenwood calls for a 1.25 cubic foot sealed box for optimum sound, this one if I figured right is .8 cubic ft. Never the less this box still sounds good while leaving a smaller foot print.
If you are looking for BOOM BOOM WHO'S YOUR DADDY NOW BASS, then get a bigger PORTED box. This sealed box is best for drivers looking for clarity and definition to their music.

I purchased two of these Atrend hatchback boxes. The first for my son (used for an Alpine R Series 12") and I was pleased, so I got one for myself (paired with a Hertz ES300D).
Mine had at least one air leak, which I located by pressing on the subwoofer cone and hearing a pht noise. After you put one of these together and seal the sub in, it's a pain to take all apart. I sealed all the joints with siliconized latex. As an aside, next time I'll just use silicone, DAP siliconized latex takes way too long to cure.
So, all fixed up, I played it for my son, he said my sub sounded a lot tighter than his, so I took a listen and there was that off time, flubbery response that mine had before I fixed it.
I now get to do it all over again. I hope it holds.
Two boxes, both bad. You may want to choose another brand of enclosure, or prepare yourself to seal it before you use it. Don't think you'll get lucky, two for two can't be a coincidence.

Got my box and it is just as it looks in the pictures. My box came without any damaged corners or carpeting and it was a CIRCLE hole in the middle and not a square like some of stated. It looks really nice and is high quality. I haven't hooked my sub up yet so i'm not sure how the sound/performance of the enclosure is but when I do I will report back. But so far everything is great.
